RMEF TV Show "Elk Chronicles"
During our 4th archery elk hunt in October of 2008, we
had the pleasure of having the camera crew of the
Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation's television show "Elk
Chronicles" in our hunting camp. The hunter was Oregon
resident Lisa Endicott and she was accompanied by her
8 year old daughter Jess. The camera chronicled the
events of Lisa's hunt from start to finish. Linda, James,
Luke and I were pleased to be a part of "Elk Chronicles"
and we are confident the final edit of the film taken at
our camp and in our hunting area will accurately depict
what we have to offer potential hunters. The episode
will be shown sometime in 2009.
2009 will mark the end of an era for Mark's Montana Trophy Hunts. Beginning
in 2010, a new outfitter will take over the operation. Phillip Bowers, a native
Montanan is no stranger to the profession. Phillip was
raised in the outfitting business and is a second
generation Montana outfitter. Phillip has extensive
experience hunting, guiding, and packing the Absoroka
Beartooth Wilderness area. Phillip brings a fresh new
enthusiasm to Mark's Montana Trophy Hunts with the
addition of spring turkey hunts, upland bird hunts, and
the continuation of World Class bull elk, trophy mule
deer and antelope. Mark Baumeister will continue as a
licensed guide and business consultant and Linda will
enjoy retirement.
Linda and I make our home in Livingston, Montana
and we conduct our outfitting operation on private
land ranches located in south central Montana.
The Montana hunting district where our hunts take place is HD590. This area
has provided our clients with exceptional hunting opportunity in some of the
most trophy rich habitat Montana has to offer. Our clients have harvested P&Y
bull elk up to 403P&Y official gross, P&Y mule deer up to 202P&Y gross
non-typical, B&C bull elk up to 385B&C gross, B&C mule deer up to 205B&C
gross non-typical, and B&C mule deer up to 201B&C gross typical.
Montana HD590 has produced bulls up to 431B&C official typical. Until just
recently, south central Montana had produced the "world record" P&Y bull elk.
If you are looking for a quality hunt in an area that has a proven track record
for producing record class trophy animals, then please give me a call. Mark's
Montana Trophy Hunts will strive to conduct it's hunting operations on only
the very finest private land ranches in south central Montana.
